The Skechers GoRun Ride 7 is the best running shoe for the money right now. It has a perfect balance of soft Hoka-like cushioning, durability (I get 500 miles out of each pair), and speed. It's very versatile, I can use it on easy days because of the soft cushioning however it's also a very fast shoe due to its forward rolling "ride", so I love to use it for tempo runs. Anyone who loves soft cushioned neutral shoes like the Hoka Clifton or Nike Zoom Fly (even the Vaporfly 4%) will love this shoe. In fact, I've now put 10+ family and friends in this shoe and have yet to meet someone who doesn't LOVE it. In case anyone reading this is thinking of writing off a running shoe from Skechers, I'm a sub 3 marathoner and run 80+ mpw, and run 40% of my miles in Skechers. They also worked pretty well at Boston for Meb, wouldn't you say?Update: I took the advice of another reviewer and removed the "extra" insole. The squeaking stopped AND they fit better! Now I love them again :) These shoes look nice and feel comfortable, though they run a bit small. Problem is, the pair I received have squeaky soles. It started on my very first run. I'm returning them.I have run countless 5Ks with these shoes. They are second to none, and I'm on my second pair already. Personally, I have flat feet and a difficult time finding shoes with proper arch support, but these are lightweight, support exactly where my feet need them, and the front helps you keep your momentum as you run. I always try to sprint the last leg of my 5K, and I got to my fastest pace with these shoes (41 seconds for 200 meters -- not bad for flat feet and asthma!) Can't wait to get more pairs!Good quality. Shoe length is as expected. Toe box height is much too flat, presses/puts pressure on top of big toe which is why I rated size as slightly smaller than expected. Fabric will not allow any “give” even after many times wearing. Good cushioning, well made, feel good when first put on. Oddly enough I found another style in this line of shoes that feels like it provides better cushioning despite not having the depth of cushion of this pair. If you naturally pronate and don’t want or need so-called “correction,” these are not best choice. I pronate-it’s how my body mechanics work (just fine, thank you) and this style makes the footstrike and pressure throughout the stride roll to the outside edge-regardless of type of activity (walk, run, etc). My feet get fatigued in these after a couple hours of just being out n about. I think it’s just that my feet are not the type the shoe was made for. So these are my “last resort/backup shoes” until I get another pair of Skechers gomeb razor 2.My first pair of Skechers runners after a couple decades of running with a major name brand. My route has changed to suburban concrete and I need shoes that provide good cushioning for 5-10k runs. I'm impressed with how well these perform. My shoes seem a bit shorter than expected, but they're still very comfortable.Never in a million years did I think I would own a pair of Sketchers cause so many of their designs are tacky AF, but these are excellent running sneakers. Super comfy right out of the box. I wear a size 5 women with pretty wide feet. Got size 5 and they are a little tight out of the box but even after two runs are loosening up. Love them. This is a delightful shoe to run distance in. I would have never picked Skechers as a serious running shoe, but the new FlightGen midsole technogy outperforms the latest offerings from brands like Saucony and New Balance. It’s light weight and responsive, but has unbelievable cushion at the same time. After more than a decade of running in only top line brands, I’m now a Skechers believer. If you’re a serious distance runner, the GoRun Ride 7 is worth a try! The only down side to these shoes at all is that the outsole is wearing down around 250 miles for me. But at half the price of the running shoes I’ve worn in the past, I don’t mind getting a new pair more often.I love the comfort from the shoe itself, but I wish that they came in a wide size. My feet are not unreasonably wide, but the toe box feels tight and constricted.I don't often write reviews for anything, but I need to commend on Skechers for creating such a comfortable and pretty everyday trainer. I am a running coach who likes to run alongside my runners, as well as a runner myself. So I run a lot. It is not easy to find shoes that fit the bill of having enough cushioning, wide toe box, a knit upper and a 6mm drop, my favorite. Not to forget, the decent price tag. These are good shoes for running long, for easy runs, marathons etc. Well done Skechers. I am a 5.5 in most shoes, for these ones I needed a 5 in the end. Thank you Amazon for sending me an exchange pair so swiftly.I've worn these a few times, and every time my left foot hurts after running so many miles, I can't explain why, but its every time I wear these trainers, I'm gutted as they are lovely comfy cushiony trainers, and my right foot loves them, I've never had this from any trainers before, I will have to go back to my usual make and keep these for walking and general gym use, no more long distance runs.Very cushioned shoes, good for running & aerobics etc. I usually wear a size 5 1/2 in Sketchers but had to change to a 6 as they felt quite tight. I think they are narrower than Sketchers normal designs, especially across the toes, as although the 6 fits me width wise it is now slightly too big lengthwise!! (Fine with some padded socks!Love these my second pair..I go down a size with skechersLike running on the moon! Awesome support
