The Skechers GoRun Ride 7 is the best running shoe for the money right now. It has a perfect balance of soft Hoka-like cushioning, durability (I get 500 miles out of each pair), and speed. It's very versatile, I can use it on easy days because of the soft cushioning however it's also a very fast shoe due to its forward rolling "ride", so I love to use it for tempo runs. Anyone who loves soft cushioned neutral shoes like the Hoka Clifton or Nike Zoom Fly (even the Vaporfly 4%) will love this shoe. In fact, I've now put 10+ family and friends in this shoe and have yet to meet someone who doesn't LOVE it. In case anyone reading this is thinking of writing off a running shoe from Skechers, I'm a sub 3 marathoner and run 80+ mpw, and run 40% of my miles in Skechers. They also worked pretty well at Boston for Meb, wouldn't you say?
